Description
The LoRa workstation occupancy THP sensor is an innovative solution for detecting the occupancy of desks and seats in work environments. This sensor is equipped with thermopile IR technology to achieve an even higher accuracy of up to 98%.
The LoRa workstation occupancy THP sensor offers flexible adjustment of the detection angle to cover different scenarios. The sensor sends the recorded signals to the LineMetrics web app. This data is visualized there and can be processed for further analysis.
The sensor is made of flame-retardant material and has a battery life of up to five years. It is ideal for optimizing the use of space in offices and enables real-time monitoring of desk and seat occupancy via the LineMetrics web app.

The battery-operated wireless sensor can be installed flexibly. It reliably records the values and transmits them via LoRa.
2. transmit measurement data
The LoRa wireless gateway creates a wireless network for up to 1,000 sensors. The collected measurement data is transmitted to the cloud via mobile radio.
3. evaluate and alert
All sensors are managed and all measurement data stored in the cloud. Analyses, alerts and data integration via API are easily possible.

The LineMetrics Cloud allows you to create individual dashboards on which you can keep an eye on the data that is most important to you. Measured values can be displayed, combined and colored in the form of bars, curves, dial gauges, etc. This screenshot shows past and current measured values of the sensor:
Warning messages can be created for individual ranges/limit values and provided with a trigger delay. This means that no warning is sent if critical values are only briefly exceeded. A second condition for triggering a warning can also be configured.
Alerts can be sent by e-mail (see screenshot) or SMS. The recipient, subject and message can be easily configured individually.

The LineMetrics complete solution enables the solution to be commissioned via plug & play – without technicians, IT department, cable laying and network access.
