Description
The LoRa radio module CMi4160 is an innovative solution for expanding the functionality of the Diehl Sharky 775 meter. This sensor module enables seamless data transmission to the LineMetrics web app and ensures reliable and far-reaching communication. With an impressive battery life of up to 11 years, the CMi4160 is both energy efficient and cost effective.
The main features include its compact size (63 x 50 x 15 mm) and low weight (19 g), which makes it easy to retrofit into existing meters. The module is delivered to the end customer pre-configured to minimize the installation effort. It operates in a temperature range from +5 °C to +55 °C and can be operated in environments with up to 93 % relative humidity.
The meter data is visualized in the LineMetrics web app and can be further analysed there.

The battery-operated wireless sensor can be installed flexibly. It reliably records the values and transmits them via LoRa.

Cloud platform: Analyze and process measured values
The LineMetrics Cloud allows you to create individual dashboards on which you can keep an eye on the data that is most important to you. Measured values can be displayed, combined and colored in the form of bars, curves, dial gauges, etc. This screenshot shows past and current measured values of the sensor:
Warning messages can be created for individual ranges/limit values and provided with a trigger delay. This means that no warning is sent if critical values are only briefly exceeded. A second condition for triggering a warning can also be configured.
Alerts can be sent by e-mail (see screenshot) or SMS. The recipient, subject and message can be easily configured individually.

The LineMetrics complete solution enables the solution to be commissioned via plug & play – without technicians, IT department, cable laying and network access.
