Description
The LoRa area leakage sensor is an innovative sensor for detecting liquid leaks in large areas that transmits alarms using LoRaWAN® technology. This device is characterized by its compact design and its ability to detect water or other liquids and alert the user immediately. With its energy-efficient technology, the LoRa area leakage sensor achieves an impressive battery life of up to 3 years with a 4000 mAh battery. The sensor also integrates temperature and humidity sensors, making it ideal for applications such as leakage monitoring of pipes, flood detection in basements or the detection of pump failures. The sensor offers an ultra-wide transmission distance of up to 10 km visibility and is housed in an IP67 enclosure that is UV-resistant and waterproof, making it suitable for harsh environments. The sensor is compatible with the Linemetrics platform to alert the user immediately by e-mail and to analyze the measured values.

Data acquisition
- The air temperature is recorded and transmitted every 10 minutes.
- Value range: -30° to 70°C (accuracy 0° to 70°C is +/- 0.3°C; accuracy -30°C to 0°C is +/- 0.6°C)

The battery-operated wireless sensor can be installed in any room. It reliably records all values and transmits them via LoRa.

The LoRa wireless gateway creates a wireless network for up to 1,000 sensors. The collected measurement data is transmitted to the cloud via mobile radio.

The LineMetrics Cloud allows you to create individual dashboards on which you can keep an eye on the data that is most important to you. Warning messages can be created for individual ranges/limit values and provided with a trigger delay. This means that no warning is sent if critical values are only briefly exceeded. A second condition for triggering a warning can also be configured.
Alerts can be sent by e-mail (see screenshot) or SMS. The recipient, subject and message can be easily configured individually.
